What types of pets are allowed at Hotel Carlton and how many per occupied room?
We only allow dogs and cats, 1 per occupied room and weighing less than 10 kg. Dogs exceeding this weight will not be permitted.
Can pets stay in any type of room?
Hotel Carlton has a limited number of rooms available for pet accommodation (standard rooms). You must always request room availability for pets when booking, and the hotel will send you confirmation of availability or not. In the case of cats, they must remain in a carrier at all times while in the hotel.
Can my pet stay alone in the hotel room?
No, pets must be accompanied by their owner at all times. Under no circumstances can pets be left alone in the rooms. This rule is for safety and good coexistence with other hotel guests, thus avoiding unnecessary risks and disturbances from noise, etc., from an animal that may be nervous in an unfamiliar environment. Room cleaning will always be done in the absence of the pet.
Can my pet stay in the common areas of the hotel?
Regarding the common areas of the hotel, pets are only allowed in transit areas, hallways and the hotel lobby. In the case of dogs, they must always be on a leash, and in the case of cats, they must always remain in their carrier, always accompanied by their owner. Only guide dogs, clearly identified as such, have unlimited access to all hotel facilities with their owner.
Does the hotel charge an additional supplement for accommodating my pet?
Yes, the service has a cost of 50,00 € per room per night.
What is the responsibility in case of damage to hotel facilities or other people?
Responsibility for damages caused by pets within the hotel lies with the pet's owner or the room's account holder.
Does the hotel have a recreational area for pets?
The hotel does not have a specific area as such and recommends that all guests staying with their pets ask for information about the nearest park to the hotel (300 m) for recreational purposes.
